Topic: “Getting Real About Innovation”

Innovation is the lifeblood of virtually every organization. We all know businesses cannot stand still and that in order to grow and improve, we must change. In this session, we will look at how leadership impacts learning and creativity, and it’s impact on the process of innovation.  Additionally, we will review the results of the survey conducted on SABA members this Spring.

Presenter: Tom Morris

Tom Morris is the founder of SABA and is a full-time PH.D. student at Regent University’s School of Business. He just finished his comprehensive exams for his course work and has started his dissertation. His focus is on ethical leadership, specifically on ethically courageous leaders who are able to speak up when things get off track.
Tom also works as the principal of Legacy Academy in Fayetteville. Legacy is a private, cutting edge K-12 educational center that develops future community leaders through critical thinking, customized curriculum, and personal coaching.
On a personal note, he is married to Carla, who recently was in Peru working with a battered women’s shelter.
