Please join us for our monthly LUNCH & LEARN session as we hear from Business Coach Harlan Hammack

Fix This Next: The Business Hierarchy of Needs

Ever feel like you’re spinning your wheels in your business and trying to do “all the things”, then end up never actually getting any traction? That’s what happens when:

Everything is urgent. Everything is a priority.

When we can’t clearly see what the real priorities are, we end up wasting our time on activities that aren’t actually helping us move the dial. Sometimes we are trying to solve symptoms but aren’t getting to the root cause and treating the underlying condition that is causing the symptoms.

And this doesn’t actually solve anything. It wastes effort and resources.

The book, Fix This Next, was written by New York Times multi-bestselling author, Mike Michalowicz, author of Profit First, Clockwork, The Pumpkin Plan, and many others.

It is based on the idea, that our biggest challenge, is that we often don’t even know what our biggest challenge is. As business owners, we get “busy” in the day to day needs of our business. We are biased, because we’re so close and emotionally invested that we can’t get a clear answer as to what we should be focusing on to help move the needle closer to achieving our goals.

And the problem many business owners get into, is the entrepreneurial survival trap. We end up here when we have a short-sighted vision of how to fix our problems and we end up fixing the wrong things and in the wrong order.

In this session, Coach Harlan will introduce you to the Business Hierarchy of Needs and the simple evaluation that will help you identify what to fix first and then what to fix next in your business.
