Topic: Leadership Development: How DISC profiles can impact your company, improve your interviewing skills and help you deal with difficult clients & employees.

Presenter: Jake Mullins, Owner of ProLine Growth, Inc.

Presenter Bio:

Jake Mullins is a proud husband to Kelly and a father of three beautiful children. They live on a farm south of Atlanta where they believe in the simple life. Faith has shaped their family life and they are active in their church and community.

Jake has over 20 years of leadership experience including large, publicly traded companies. He began his career as an entrepreneur and started his own technology business. He operated that company for 5 years before selling it.

After selling his company, Jake took a sales position at AT&T. He spent the next 10 years in various positions at AT&T across the country and started to quickly climb the corporate ladder.

In 2012, AT&T made the decision to start a new wireless company called Aio Wireless. This new company required speed and innovation because everything was going to be developed from scratch – this was a startup owned by a large corporation. Jake was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer for Aio Wireless. In this role, he had responsibility for sales, sales operations, customer care, online, training, and distribution strategy.

In 2014, Aio Wireless acquired Cricket Wireless. Jake led the merger strategy and planning for Aio Wireless and Cricket Wireless for sales, operations, customer care, and online. After the merger was completed, Jake served as the Chief Operating Officer for the new Cricket Wireless.

After leaving Cricket, Jake joined Teleperformance as the Executive Vice President of Strategic Accounts. During his tenure, he led the fastest growing client in Teleperformance’s portfolio. He was responsible for global client relationships and operations in 11 countries.

Jake decided to put his executive experience to use by writing the book Adapted Leadership and starting ProLine Growth in 2018. ProLine Growth helps companies grow by providing leadership training, strategic planning, management consulting, employee engagement initiatives, sales acceleration, and marketing strategy.

Jake holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Everglades University in Florida. He graduated Summa Cum Laude as the Valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA.

Topic: Don’t Wait Until You Sell Your Business – Financial Independence for Entrepreneurs

Most business owners don’t think about how to become financially independent. They believe the equity from the sale of their business at retirement age will fund their lifestyle for the rest of their lives and in many cases, this isn’t the case. Whether you are planning to sell your business in the future or if you’re simply an entrepreneur interested in becoming financially independent, you’ll want to hear Lisa Duke!

Presenter: Lisa Duke

Presenter Bio:

Lisa Duke and her husband, Darren Duke, became self-made millionaires while leaving the corporate world and starting their own IT consulting business, Simplified Technology Solutions.  They acknowledge, though, that they would not have reached that goal had they not had a financial mentor to help lead them there. Now Lisa is working to help others follow the same path toward financial freedom. Ms. Duke has passed the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education® (AFCPE®)’s exam to become an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®) and is also pursuing that organization’s designation to become a Financial Fitness Coach (FFC®).
Ms. Duke is a member of the Financial Independence Retire Early (FIRE) movement, which encourages people to build wealth through savings so they have the freedom to start businesses and improve their communities – all with a sizeable nest egg in place – and is a backer for the Playing with Fire documentary.
Lisa is a frequent presenter and speaker. She was a part of the Roundtable atCamp Fi Southeast Week 1 and is featured on NPR’s Nothing Funny About Money show episode 21 on Entrepreneurship, which airs February 1. She is presenting on starting a side hustle while searching for a job at Life Lessons over Lunch, and is being interviewed for Business Radio X by Lee Cantor.
Ms. Duke can be reached at 678 378 4278 or at lisa@lisaduke.net.

Presenter: Harlan Hammack, Coach & Owner, iB4e Coaching

Topic: The True Cost of Disengaged Employees

Employee engagement is one of the buzz words going around these days, but don’t be fooled: It’s NOT about how happy or comfortable your employees are feeling. The true cost of disengaged employees is your bottom line.
Lack of employee engagement is costing US businesses between $450 and $550 billion dollars annually in lost revenue, lost productivity, and employee turnover. Disengaged employees can impact your culture, your brand, and your finances.
Coach Harlan will discuss his program “Mastering Employee Engagement” and clue you in on the 4 essential management practices to improve employee engagement.

Presenter Bio: Harlan Hammack is an award-winning speaker, author, trainer, and business coach. Harlan is the President/Managing Partner of iB4e, a management consulting firm based in Atlanta, Georgia.

For the past 5 years, Harlan has focused on iB4e Coaching; Business and Leadership Coaching for executives, entrepreneurs, and small business professionals; helping good managers to become GREAT leaders. His programs help leaders develop “managerial courage” to have the difficult and sometimes dangerous conversations with employees that help transform their businesses and build world-class teams that ensure productivity and profitability.
Harlan has over 25-years’ experience in Organizational Change and Business Transformation. He has worked with clients around the US, Mexico, Canada, the UK, and Europe. He has helped companies like Coca-Cola, Unilever, Pfizer, Gilead Sciences, and others that were undergoing a major change: merger/acquisition, business process reengineering, business restructuring, or IT infrastructure change. He has helped countless executives and front-line managers develop key leadership skills they need to navigate through their ever-changing business environments.
Harlan is the author of two books on entrepreneurship and business success including his latest book BARNSTORMING: A Pilot’s Guide to Growing Your Business” (available on Amazon).
