“U.S. Tax Reform and How it Changed the way U.S. Businesses Manage Tax Matters”

Our speaker this month will talk about how the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (aka tax reform) changed the way U.S. businesses manage tax matters including mergers and acquisitions, location, entity type, and innovation… just to name a few.  Presenter: Rita Wood, Interim-Global

Rita is the founder of Interim-Global whose purpose it is to mitigate the daily stress caused by tax matters through the facilitation, management, and provision of interim global Head of Tax services. 

For the past four years, Rita was the Director of Tax for Kids II, Inc a designer and distributor of baby products globally. Prior to Kids II, Inc, Rita was with EY’s Transaction Tax M&A practice and BellSouth Corporation for ten years each.

At home, Rita and her husband, Barry, are actively involved in maintaining trails at Cochran Mill State Park, community charitable events and local theater. She is an avid stand-up paddleboarder and begins as many days as possible out on the water.
