Rick Zwelling is an Accredited Financial Counselor with more than 35 years of experience in business and finance. His passion for teaching people the fundamentals of personal finance has helped individuals and families from all over the country.

He has owned multiple businesses, built business for a profitable mortgage company, run 2 statewide programs as a contractor to the State of Ohio, and assisted individuals and non-profits by providing financial literacy education. ​

Topic: According to Forbes Magazine, more than 50% of Americans report that talking about their personal finances makes them feel anxious.

And financial illiteracy has reached epidemic levels. Personal Finance is not taught in our schools and isn’t even required as a course

at the college level. According to studies compiled by the US Financial Literacy & Education Commission, only one-third of adults could

answer at least 4 of 5 financial literacy questions on fundamental concepts such as mortgages, interest rates, inflation and risk. This is

in fact to blame, in part, for our country’s record levels of debt and bankruptcies.

Rick will share his 35 years of experience and will demystify some of the ‘scarier’ notions of personal finance. His goal is to get his listeners on the proper path to financial freedom for them!
